This Privacy Policy explains how ∞ Tango Unlimited ("8tango", "we", "us", or "our"), operated at 8tango.com, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.

1.1 Account Information

If you create an account (to sync progress across devices or purchase Premium), we collect your email address. Authentication is handled by Supabase, which stores a hashed session token and user identifier. We do not store passwords — sign-in is via magic link (one-time email code) or third-party OAuth (e.g., Google).

1.2 Purchase Information

If you purchase Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation of payment, a Stripe checkout session ID, and a payment intent ID. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

1.3 Game Data

We store your game progress, statistics (puzzles solved, best times, achievements), display name, and avatar selection. For logged-in users, this data is synced to our server so it persists across devices. For anonymous users, this data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage.

For non-Premium users, we may display ads using Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your browsing activity. You can control ad personalisation in your Google Ads Settings.

Premium users do not see ads and we do not load the AdSense script for them.
