These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ∞ Tango Unlimited ("8tango", "we", "us", or "our") at 8tango.com. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use 8tango. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use 8tango lawfully and not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, databases, or other users' accounts.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service in a way that degrades the experience for others.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service except as permitted by applicable law.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harassing content.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

3. Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in method (email or OAuth provider). We are not responsible for loss of access due to forgotten credentials or changes to third-party OAuth providers.

4. Premium Purchase

Premium is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that unlocks features as described at the time of purchase (unlimited puzzles, all Journey levels, no ads, cross-device sync). Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Refunds: Because Premium is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds are generally not available. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days and we will review your request.
• Entitlement: Premium is tied to your account (email), not a specific device. You can restore Premium on any device by signing in with the same account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on 8tango — including the game engine, puzzle generator, visual design, icons, and articles — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

"Tango" as used on this site refers to a style of logic puzzle. We make no trademark claim on the word "Tango" for puzzle games generally.

6. User-Generated Content

If you set a display name or avatar, you agree not to use names that are offensive, misleading, or impersonate others. We reserve the right to remove or rename accounts that violate this rule.

7. Disclaimers

8tango is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for any loss of game progress, data, or account access.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of 8tango is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Not Affiliated

8tango is an independent game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn or any of its products.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
