We respect your right to control how your data is collected and used on 8tango.com. Below you'll find instructions for managing advertising, analytics, and data preferences.

Advertising preferences

If you are a non-Premium user, Google AdSense may serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can control this in several ways:

• Google Ads Settings: adssettings.google.com — disable ad personalisation or review the topics Google associates with your profile.
• Digital Advertising Alliance: aboutads.info/choices — opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
• Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org — another opt-out tool for ad networks.

If you are a Premium user, we do not load AdSense and no advertising cookies are set.

Analytics preferences

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. If you prefer not to be tracked:

• Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting (we honour this where supported).
• Block analytics cookies via your browser's cookie settings.

Local storage

Game preferences (board size, theme, sound) and progress are stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data will reset these preferences. For logged-in users, game stats are synced to the server and will persist even if localStorage is cleared.

Delete your data

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
